5113 Abercrombie Dr, Edina, MN 55439 was supposed to be our forever home, until we were relocated out-of-state for work! We were looking forward to our children attending the desirable Creek Valley Elementary school, and coming home to play with all their classmates in the Brookview Heights Neighborhood. Our West Edina location is a perfect place to take a leisurely walk, jog around the area, or ride bikes up to nearby Normandale Park or the Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail. The commute to and from downtown from 5113 Abercrombie Dr, Edina, MN 55439 is an absolute breeze, and all the shopping you could ever want is less than a mile away in the Greater Southdale shopping area. Abercrombie is a low traffic street, and many of the cars that travel down our street are from within the neighborhood. The location is perfection! We made many improvements to 5113 Abercrombie Dr, Edina, MN 55439 as soon as we moved in. We installed a cedar privacy fence to secure the large flat backyard for our kids, and to keep our French Bulldog within bounds. We installed a Master Bedroom walk-in closet, painted the entire interior, renovated the fireplace with ship lap and a new mantel, and installed new Nest furnace and climate controls. The deck, 3 season porch, and main level of our house were perfect for parties and entertaining. One of our family’s favorite places in the home was in the living room with the beautiful, cozy fireplace. The unobstructed view of the rolling hills in the neighborhood, and the calming effect of the big beautiful oak tree in the front yard, with plenty of useable green space was a great place to unwind. The basement was spacious for our entire family and the kids enjoyed playing there. We will miss our home at 5113 Abercrombie Dr, Edina, MN 55439 but our hope is that it can become a place another family will be able to enjoy for many more years to come!
