Edina 50th & France Neighborhood

When you think of the 50th & France Neighborhood of Edina, you probably first think of 50th & France Commercial District, where you’ll find some of the best boutique shopping, restaurants, and retail services in the entire state. But actually, there are three condo developments within this Edina neighborhood that allow you to live the urban lifestyle but within in the safety and comfort of an affluent first-ring suburb. The Lanterns of Edina is an affordable 1970’s condo building just south of Lund’s Grocery. These units are modest but well-situated and convenient. The floor plans for these condo flats are relatively simple, lending themselves well to wholesale renovation when desired. The Henley at Edina Condos were built in 1994, and have more upscale finishes. This building is just to the west of Lund’s, with pleasant views of the surrounding single family homes in the Arden Park Neighborhood. 5000 France is the most recent condo development, being completed in 2006. It is also the only upper bracket selection at 50th & France, with most units over $1,000,000. The 5000 France units are fully appointed, with sweeping views, balconies, huge kitchens, upscale finishes, and underground parking. Just down the block, The Lanterns condos start at $200,000, and Henley at Edina condos at at $300,000.
