The basement space offers flexibility for both entertaining and family time. The house is within walking distance of Lake Harriet Elementary School, Lake Harriet, grocery stores, popular retail shops, and restaurants. The hardest part of moving away is leaving the park and our neighbors.  Pershing Park is a community in and of itself. As parents, we’ve made lasting friends just like our kids. The pool in the summer is one of the greatest benefits. The neighbors on our street and our alley are just great people. They care about their property and work to maintain it. They are respectful, helpful, and neighborly. It’s very easy to make friends quickly between our neighbors and the park. Finally, being able to take a short walk to get just about anything we need has been so nice with Walgreens and Lunds so close. Weekend morning walks to Breadsmith Bakery have become a tradition, as have the Saturday morning walks down the street 1 block south to the farmers market (June-Sep).
