Highlands is an established residential neighborhood in western Edina with just over 300 single-family homes centered around Highlands Park and Highlands Elementary School. Distinctive entrances along Ayrshire Boulevard and Mirror Lakes Boulevard help give the neighborhood a defined sense of place, while rolling terrain, mature trees, ponds and low-lying natural areas create a setting unlike many other parts of Edina. Highlands Park provides approximately 40 acres of green space, athletic fields, playground facilities, tennis and pickleball courts, a pond and seasonal recreation.
