As a professional mortgage broker for River City Mortgage (formerly Lakeland Mortgage) for over a decade, I have learned that my role is not simply to arrange loans. Since I am helping people create perhaps the largest debt in their life, I have a professional and ethical responsibility to help you understand and manage that debt over the long term. My primary role is helping my borrowers integrate the mortgage loan they select into their overall long and short term financial and investment goals as well as their payment and equity objectives. I want to ensure that the loan process is easy and above all, that it exceeds your expectations. 
My background includes over 15 years experience as a Senior Closer, and 9 Years with Gibraltar Title. Before that, I was involved in the mortgage banking industry for over 25 years in various positions, including both loan origination AND loan processing. Both my mortgage and title experience give me a complete understanding of each transaction and allow me to identify and repair problems well ahead of time! My knowledge of lending requirements and title standards produce smooth, professional closings for our clients. My goal as a closer is to make customers feel at ease, and make closing on their new home a pleasant, enjoyable experience that will always be remembered.
I am originally from Portage Wisconsin and moved to the Twin Cities in 1990 to attend the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. I graduated in 1994 with a degree in Political Science while playing four years of Varsity Football. I then embarked on a 10 year career as an NFL scoutbefore relocating back to the Twin Cities.
My background includes over 20 years as a home remodeling contractor, carpenter, and handyman. I have experience in window and door replacement, kitchen and bath remodeling, tilework, custom closet systems, electrical upgrades and fixture replacements, and just about any other project under the sun!
